The following is a standard list of documents and information required from the Seller by the Business Broker in order to SELL the BUSINESS.

  • A current year to date financial statement including adjusted sales.
  • 3 years tax returns. If in business less than 3 years, provide tax returns for the number of years in business.To get started with our evaluation, we can work with Quick Books but will need the tax returns from CPA as early as possible.
  • A copy of the Balance Sheet and P&L’s for the prior 3 years or for the number of years in business.
  • A copy of the Lease Document
  • Your Website address and an emailed copy of any awards you have received, marketing materials you may have (advertisements, menus, product brochures, promotional materials) which we can use to promote your business in our Executive Marketing package.
  • Seller to write 300-500 words about the background history of the business.
  • Provide a detailed typed list of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) and any vehicles (if applicable) which will be included in the sale along with seller’s estimated value.
  • An estimated value at cost of Inventory to be included in the sale the day of closing.
